Mastersons Bar in Moonee Ponds is an unsatisfactory place to hang out, in my opinion. The atmosphere is lackluster, and the decor is old-fashioned and uninviting. The seating arrangements are crowded, and the lighting is poor, making it unwelcoming.
The cuisine menu at Mastersons Bar is unremarkable, and the dishes are mediocre in quality. I found the food to be tasteless and uninspired, and the portions were not worth the cost. The burger was flavorless, the fries were undercooked, and the salad was wilted. The only thing that seemed decent was the loaded fries, but even they were just average.
Additionally, the service was lethargic, and the staff was inattentive or helpful. They seemed unengaged in providing good service, and it took forever to get our food and drinks. When we finally received our order, it was cold and unappetizing. The staff seemed to be more focused on chatting with each other than serving the customers.

The unbearable volume of the music forced everyone to shout, making it impossible to have a conversation. It seemed like the musician was uninterested, just going through the motions. The displeased audience had no choice but to endure the disappointing performance, wondering if it was all worth it.
Overall, my experience at Mastersons Bar was exceedingly disappointing. The uninviting atmosphere, inferior food, inferior drinks, and apathetic service were all below par, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are superior options in Moonee Ponds that offer a better value proposition. I was thoroughly disappointed and will not be returning at all costs.
